What is Halo?

Halo is a unique, world’s first hybrid fractional laser. Halo combines two wavelengths that are delivered simultaneously to the skin.

• Surface layer treatment (2940 nm ablative wavelength): Targets the top layer of the skin (epidermis), improving texture by softening fine lines, reducing pore size, and brightening surface hyperpigmentation.

• Deep layer treatment (1470 nm non-ablative wavelength): Targets the deeper layer of your skin (the dermis), stimulating collagen and elastin while repairing from the inside out.

Who’s a Great Candidate?

Most patients see noticeable results after just one treatment, but a series may be recommended depending on your goals.

The “Real Talk” on Recovery.

This new technology has way less downtime than old-school ablative lasers. However, this treatment does require some planning:

• Day 1: Expect redness and a spicy feeling (think sunburn) that can last a few hours.

• Day 2-3: Noticeable swelling and puffiness may appear, lasting 3–4 days.

• Days 5–8: Expect a gritty, sandpaper-like texture called MENDS (Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris), a fancy word for cell turnover from controlled micro-injuries. Think of these like little scabs. There is no exfoliating or scrubbing for a minimum of 10 days. These will slough off on their own.
