Dr. Yunez completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of

in Phlebology (Diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins and venous disease),
pioneering the Closure Procedure in the Midwest in 1999 and the Endovenous
Laser Treatment in 2001 More recently he has become certified in Anti-Aging
Medicine including Bio-identical Hormone Replacement and Peptide Therapy.

As Clinical Director, Anna Grancher leads a talented team of aesthetic providers while also seeing patients multiple days a week at our North Shore and West Loop offices. With a commitment to excellence, she provides medical education and ongoing training to estheticians, injectors, telehealth providers, and support staff, ensuring that her team is well-versed in the latest practices, products, and techniques.

Anna thrives on the dynamic nature of the aesthetic industry, finding joy in combining training and patient care to help individuals feel their best. She values integrity, authenticity, and transparency in her interactions, fostering these principles within her team to create a welcoming environment for patients navigating the often overwhelming world of aesthetic medicine.

Outside of her professional commitments, Anna is a dedicated mom to two young children and enjoys spending her free time with family. She also loves exploring Chicago’s fine dining scene, cheering for her favorite sports teams, and immersing herself in the theater, from opera to Broadway musicals. Her passion for both her work and personal life makes her a relatable and approachable leader in the field.

Originally from Boise, Idaho, Adisa moved to Chicago to pursue her dream of living in a bigger city. She began her career at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a registered nurse for several years before transitioning full-time into aesthetics to follow her passion for cosmetic medicine.

As an aesthetic nurse injector, Adisa specializes in personalized treatments that help patients achieve their beauty goals with subtle, natural-looking enhancements. With a strong eye for detail, her focus on delivering results that are both artful and tailored to each individual’s unique features. Her priority is creating a comfortable, educational experience where patients feel informed, confident, and cared for throughout their aesthetic journey.

Currently, Adisa is advancing her education at Chamberlain University to become a nurse practitioner, motivated by commitment to continuous growth and providing the highest standard of care.

Austyn Johnson is a dedicated Physician Assistant with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where she graduated summa cum laude and received the MCPHS University Academic Achievement Award. Since 2018, Austyn has been passionately working in the field of aesthetics, where she focuses on providing safe, impactful, and natural results for her patients.

Believing that every individual deserves a comprehensive consultation, Austyn creates personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique facial features and aesthetic goals. Her expertise includes neuromodulator injections (Botox/Dysport), facial fillers, biostimulators (Sculptra & Radiesse), and PRP injections. Austyn’s approach emphasizes facial harmonization and balance, ensuring her patients leave feeling confident and ready to showcase their best selves.

One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is the long-term relationships she builds with her patients. Outside of her professional life, Austyn is a devoted mom of two. She enjoys spending quality time with her kids, family, and friends, and is always on the lookout for new restaurants to explore and exciting travel destinations.

Andrea has been in the medical field since the age of 18, and comes to SpaDerma with experience in long term care, medical/surgical nursing, telemetry, and ER. Now a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, Andrea found her way into medical aesthetics after completing her education at Resurrection University and receiving her MSN FNP from Olivet Nazarene University. Andrea attributes much of her success being an aesthetic injector to her deep rooted passion for all things ‘beauty’ and being artistically talented. With a heavy focus on providing natural results, Andrea most enjoys enhancing each of her patient’s intrinsic features, as she believes beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder…and in the hands of the injector! Going one step further, she helps instill healthy habits in all her patients including customized treatment plans to address their skin concerns and anti-aging treatment recommendations. Andrea prides herself on continuing education and helping her patient’s feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.

Kelcy Bai is a dedicated Physician Associate with a Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Health Sciences from the University of Missouri, as well as a Master of Medical Science from Northwestern University. She began her aesthetic career at a plastic surgery office before bringing her expertise to SpaDerma.

Kelcy is passionate about highlighting each patient's natural beauty, ensuring they not only look their best but also feel confident. She prides herself on connecting with patients, adding positivity to their day, and building lasting relationships. With her artistic eye and detail-oriented approach, Kelcy emphasizes prevention over correction, crafting customized treatment plans that address the root causes of concerns for long-term results.

Committed to continuous learning, Kelcy stays updated on the latest advancements in aesthetics to provide the highest quality care. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her nephews and indulging in all types of noodles.

As our most tenured aesthetic injector, Julie Myers, RN has been a member of the SpaDerma team for 15+ years. During her time here, Julie has amassed a wide following and patient base. This is a true testament to her passion for aesthetics and a reflection on the genuine care she provides to each of her patients.

Sara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College, achieving highest honors.  She joins us with experience in aesthetic medicine as well as assisting and observing in and out of the operating room. Sara’s surgical nursing experience has deepened her understanding of facial anatomy, effective treatment strategies, and pain minimization. She provides customized treatments with subtle, natural results. Her attention to detail, genuine care, and naturally beautiful results make her an exceptional addition to our team.

After completing University, Ally spent years struggling with acne and feeling self-conscious leaving the house without makeup. She decided to make a career shift and dove in head first to pursue an education at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture to study aesthetics. This change ended up becoming an even more amazing experience than Ally could have imagined. Ally’s fulfillment lies in knowing that she is now truly helping patients tackle their skin concerns, face on. She strives to educate her patients about the health of their skin and wants to help them feel confident and beautiful more than anything.

Amanda’s love for skincare stemmed from her teenage years of struggling with grade-3 cystic acne. Waking up every day unhappy and self-conscious with her skin was what shifted Amanda’s view of skincare and paved her career path. After 2 years of college and a lot of research, Amanda enrolled in aesthetics school in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. She then attended True U in Chicago for additional intense training, gaining more knowledge and certifications. Amanda’s passion for aesthetics is fueled by the insatiable desire to help her patients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Her knowledge of advanced treatments and skincare products helps her tackle all skin concerns, leaving patients feeling excited about the plan she creates for their journey.

Ashley Powers has been a driving force in the aesthetic industry since 2010 and has been with SpaDerma since 2014. As the Education Director since 2019, she has trained and mentored over 50 aestheticians across all SpaDerma locations and other Chicago medspas. Her commitment to education extends to hosting skin care seminars and collaborating with brands, along with her certification as a Laser Safety Officer.

In 2022, Ashley contributed to a white paper study with Hydrafacial, published in 2023, which has been shared throughout Hydrafacial accounts to enhance understanding of combining hydrafacial treatments with advanced aesthetic services. She is also working towards the launch of The Collective, an advanced aesthetic education center aimed at fostering community, learning, and growth among both new and seasoned professionals.

From engagements to weddings and family milestones, Ashley cherishes the relationships forged through skincare appointments. Her approach involves personalized treatment plans that cater to each client’s unique needs, always pushing the boundaries of what's possible in aesthetics.

Outside of her professional life, Ashley is a devoted mother to two daughters and is happily married to her high school sweetheart. She enjoys concerts, spending time with extended family, practicing Pilates, and hosting dinner parties, all of which reflect her vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle.

Cathy Doyle is an experienced esthetician with a decade of expertise in the field, spanning day spas, dermatology offices, and now her true passion: the med spa environment. As a skilled laser and light technician, Cathy specializes in performing corrective treatments, assessing individual skin types and concerns, and curating personalized at-home skincare routines. Her mission is not only to enhance her clients' skin health but also to educate them on proper skincare practices.

Cathy is deeply committed to building strong relationships with her clients, reveling in the transformative changes she witnesses in their skin and the confidence it brings. With a keen interest in the science behind skincare, she continuously seeks knowledge through webinars, seminars, books, and articles—always eager to stay updated on the latest trends and skin anatomy.

Outside of her professional life, Cathy enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with her 4-year-old daughter. Her passion for skincare and genuine care for her clients make her a trusted partner on their journey to healthier, more radiant skin.

Carla has been a Medical Aesthetician since 2008,  during which she has gained knowledge and experience in all aspects of the skin. As a skincare specialist, Carla feels that educating her patients on their skin is one of the most important aspects of delivering results. She struggled with her own skin at a younger age battling acne, and then melasma in her adult years. Through educating herself on the right products and treatments, she has greatly improved her own skin and hopes to do the same for her patients. In her free time Carla enjoys making frequent visits to her hometown Michigan where she spends time with her nieces and nephew. She also loves spending time at their family lake house where she can unwind and be ready to come back to work.

With nearly 12 years of experience at SpaDerma, Christina Ephraim is a skilled Esthetician and Laser Specialist dedicated to helping clients feel more confident in their skin. She offers a wide range of treatments, including laser hair removal, Clear & Brilliant, Moxi, chemical peels, Laser Genesis, Vivace, facials, microneedling, Glo2, Diamond Glow, and Hydrafacials. Christina is passionate about customizing treatments and providing duo options to optimize results for her clients.

Her approach emphasizes setting realistic expectations while thoroughly discussing at-home products and-care instructions to ensure safe and effective results. Christina values building trusting relationships with her clients, working together to achieve their skincare goals.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending quality time with her husband, three kids, and their dog, Blue, embracing the joy of family life.

Dee graduated with her Aesthetics license from G Skin & Beauty Institute in Chicago and in 2019 she joined our team at SpaDerma to further develop her career in advanced skin care. Dee truly believes that a self-care routine is an essential part of a balanced life. She is adamant in the importance of providing results-driven treatments along with a uniquely curated, medical-grade, home skincare routine. Her love for health, promoting overall well-being, and a consistent self-care routine, allows her to provide a deeper level of care for her clients. Specializing in laser technology and chemical peels, Dee has found this profession extremely rewarding as she fulfills her passion of helping people feel comfortable in their own skin. 

Dita was a nurse in her home country of Kosovo before moving to Chicago which prepared her to best care for and educate her patients. After moving, Dita became an Aesthetician out of her passion for making others feel beautiful in their own skin. It’s of utmost importance that each patient Dita treats leaves the room feeling amazing. Dita's journey began at Salon 1800 Lincoln Park in 2001. She cultivated her skills under the owner Helene. Dita has consistently demonstrated her commitment to excellence, making it a priority for each patient to leave feeling rejuvenated and empowered

Julie’s extensive experience includes training with and utilizing nearly every laser on the market, reflecting her commitment to staying current with industry advancements. She believes in the importance of continuous education to be the best esthetician possible.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys an active lifestyle, including swimming, biking, and daily beach walks. A dedicated vegan and dog mom, she embraces healthy living both inside and out.

Madeline firmly believes skincare has the ability to change an individual's life. With the right tools and education, it provides confidence and gives control back to those who feel who are at a loss. Her goal in life is to transform how men and women view skincare. Though typically seen as a luxury item, she wants to empower individuals to seek out education to protect, condition, and soothe their skin as a proactive measure than reactive care. She feels lucky to call herself a dedicated, passionate, and curious Licensed Aesthetician. With her passion for corrective skincare, her love for making people feel like their best selves, and her dedication to educate each individual that comes across her path, she truly knows  she is doing a service of regeneration for those in need.

Meghan began her journey in skincare at the Aveda institute in Chicago and has over 6 years of experience in the industry. She believes in staying up to date on all the latest techniques to ensure quality treatments and great results. Meghan focuses primarily on creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all of her clients. Some of her favorite treatments include Microneedling, Laser Genesis, and chemical peels.

Niki started her career in the aesthetics industry in 2007 in Arizona and has been with SpaDerma since 2011. She is passionate about the industry and sharing her knowledge and experience with her patients. The most rewarding gift for her is being a part of their skincare journey. Her all time favorite treatment are Chemical Peels since there’s so many options to tailor the treatment to each patients unique needs and transform the skin. She believes it’s the go-to option for all types of skin care needs such as acne, rosacea, melasma, or even just maintenance. She struggles with hyper pigmentation herself so peels will forever be apart of her treatment plan. Violet Nocon has been a trusted skincare expert in Chicago since graduating from esthetics school in 2007. Her journey began at Salon 1800 Old Town, where she honed her skills under the guidance of SpaDerma owner Halene.

Following the salon's move to Lincoln Park and subsequent transition to solely SpaDerma, Violet seamlessly joined the team roughly 11 years ago. Over the years, she has focused on advanced skincare with expertise in laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant, Laser Genesis, BBL, and Moxi. Her repertoire also includes popular treatments like HydraFacial, Diamond Glow, microneedling, and dermaplaning.

The most fulfilling aspect of her career is witnessing the positive transformations in her clients' skin. She continuously strives to learn new techniques and explore advanced treatments, keeping her work stimulating and ever-evolving.

Violet's dedication extends beyond technical expertise. Her patients describe her as thorough and genuinely invested in their well-being.

When away from the spa, Violet enjoys reading, music, and dance. She cherishes spending time with family and friends, and adventures through travel.

Originally from Panama, Valerie Graduated from G Skin and Beauty Institute in Chicago with an Aesthetics license in 2019 and shortly after she began working for SpaDerma.  She believes that even if you have the most beautiful skin it can take a lot of work to protect it and because of that, prevention and protection are equally as important as correction when it comes to skincare. One of Valerie’s favorite treatments to perform is Clear + Brilliant, for those who don’t want a lot of downtime and want to focus on preventing future skin issues as early as their 20s. Val loves working in advanced skincare, making a difference in her patients’ skin, and enjoys working with other providers who have similar passions!
